Roger Persichino is a humanitarian expert with over 20 years of experience working in field and headquarters from Head of Mission to Operations Director. He has also taught on humanitarian issues and US policy, foreign and domestic, at both graduate and undergraduate level at Sciences Po Paris and Université Paris XIII.

His primary area of expertise deals with context analysis, and especially how the political economy of violence affects assistance delivery in terms of security and program design. He also has extensive knowledge of the US and French aid systems, and is familiar with the United Nations humanitarian architecture.

With several published articles on humanitarian issues, most recently on the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, Roger has also written extensively on US politics, both in book and article formats.
