As part of the winter aid project funded by Stichting Vluchteling, U-Saved distributed essential items to the most vulnerable families in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Donetsk Oblasts. The kits included headlamps, thermos flasks, blankets, wood-burning stoves, generators, electric cookers and external batteries, meeting urgent needs in the face of the rigours of winter.
FrontView was commissioned to carry out telephone Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM), based on a representative sample of beneficiaries. The aim of this mission was to assess the relevance of the goods distributed, identify persistent needs, measure beneficiary satisfaction and gather their perceptions of U-Saved’s action.
The survey also made it possible to document the difficulties encountered during distributions, the obstacles to accessing aid, and the level of information beneficiaries had about the NGO’s work. This work enabled us to gather qualitative data that will be useful for improving future projects and strengthening accountability mechanisms with the communities we help.
