In October 2015, as Greece faces the arrival of up to 10,000 migrants on its shores each day, La Chaîne de l’Espoir, in partnership with Waha, a medical NGO, launches a large medical programme to assist migrant populations and asks for FrontView’s assistance with monitoring of operations as well as the NGO’s strategic positioning.

Their programme consisted of deploying medical aid along the road taken by migrants to reach Western and Northern Europe. Mobile and static clinics, emergency and intensive care services, as well as boat-ambulances have been set up on Greek islands (Lesbos, Kos, Samos, Chios) and in several Balkan countries (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia). From October to December 2015, close to 20,000 examinations and medical services have been provided. FrontView directly assessed and supervised the launch of these programmes on the island of Kos, as well as the grant of institutional funding in partnership with the UNHCR. Our firm produced a report including prospective scenarios for the migrant crisis, which led the NGO to hand over the whole programme to Waha.
